Oversized Organic Fruit Bowl with Kangaroo Grass Imprint
These simple and organic handmade forms are a celebration of the tactile nature of clay. Their raw undersides - soft warm to the touch - remind the user of the earth from which they were formed.
Made from gritty buff clay with kangaroo grass imprint and white porcelain inlay. Glazed on the inside in a translucent matte white crystal glaze that shows through the inlay and textured surface. The underside is raw and the natural fine lines have been left around the edge to add character to the piece. This is the perfect entertainers bowl or great as an elegant statement piece. Throw in a salad or pretty much anything!

Specifications:
Premium food safe reactive commercial glazes have been used, creating unique patterning on each piece. Inconsistencies are a feature of the firing process and the expression of the maker. Unglazed surfaces are sanded twice during firing to ensure pieces are gentle on hands and surfaces, however care should be taken when used in scratch-prone areas. They have been sealed with liquid quartz which is invisible, non-toxic and food safe. All pieces are dishwasher and microwave safe however hand washing is recommended.
